Day 7 was MUCH better. I woke up, and decided I was going to have a better attitude no matter what, and it worked. I also felt much better physically. We did a short yoga routine after having our first aminos and flex food. The hunger was not very bad at all, but I still crave the foods I love. I can't wait to eat that cheese pizza on Friday! I have figured out the ways that I am going to eat healthier in general, but I'm still having that pizza! I think I will try to go to decaf coffee, as I really just love the flavor of coffee. I may have had a slight addiction to caffeine, but as long as decaf has the same flavor, I'll be good. I know decaf has some caffeine, but not as much. As long as the decaffeinating process doesn't involve any chemical process. I'll have to research that. I am going to have Kombucha every day instead of my ginger ales for my carbonation fix, and if I get nauseous from my sinus drainage, I will drink my ginger tea. I may have a naughty soda once a week, as well as a sweet treat like cookies or whatever, but in much moderation. I may or may not count my calories again, as I have done that for so many years. I go through phases of counting, but then I get tired of it, and just trust my knowledge and gut. After counting relentlessly for 10 years, I often just feel burned out on doing it at times.
My partner and I are in the home stretch now!!! We are excited and proud of ourselves. We haven't lost anymore weight, but it's not about that, right? Lol, I'd be a liar if I didn't find that a little disappointing as some people's before and after pics show them having lost 10-15 (sometimes 20) pounds. We've lost around 6. I think we're both pms'ing so I'm not expecting to lose more.

Day 6 Review From Hell
Day 6 has, by far, been my worst day on this cleanse. I totally had a little break down, and almost quit the cleanse. I wrote in my notes on my phone all day, so I am just going to copy and paste most of what I wrote.
Very hungry when waking. Woke up too early and couldn't sleep because of an empty tummy feeling.
Very irritable and a little pissed and tired of being hungry
I definitely have more of a clean feeling inside of my body. Could be psychological and inspired by knowing that only healthy stuff is going in me, but I don't think it's just that
A little depressed, but I have depression anyway so don't know if it's because of the cleanse or just my mental illness/recent job loss bringing me down some.
My back hurts.
I wonder if the cherry is making my anti depressant work less..?
I want to be alone a lot.
After "lunch" time section of cleanse and flex food, don't have the empty hungry feeling as much.
I spoke too soon. The hunger came back within 20 minutes.
I have this weird discomfort also of wanting to do stuff, but wanting also to do nothing. I'm tired, but not tired. It's annoying.
I am not a nice person when I'm hungry.
It doesn't get easier after the halfway point. It gets fucking harder!
Cotton mouth unless I drink water constantly
I had my partner write Dr Mike. He said that some anti-depressants work less on the cleanse if they don't work well with a low calorie diet. My partner looked it up, and it seems to be true.
Eating more flex foods than I know I should.. Went way over on calories.
I feel like tearing the room apart.
I was not that unhealthy. Been eating vegetarian for a year. More vegan than not. Had a ginger ale a day. Had one coffee a day. Never excess of carbs on most days. Same with sweets. Some weeks I would have a few sweets a week, sometimes once a week. Stopped drinking alcohol for the most part. Stopped smoking. No excess of salty foods. Made fresh fruit and greens smoothies each day. Why am I having such extreme detox? I'm not a health nut, no, but I'm way more healthy than some and much more than I used to be.I hate health fucking nuts. They can kiss my ass!!!
As you can see, it was a very trying day.
I also posted on the Happy Healthy Hour group on Facebook because I felt so frustrated. I got a lot of support and encouragement, some good suggestions, and some suggestions of things that are obvious to do if you actually read how to do the cleanse, lol. But all in all, reaching out was good.
By adding more flex foods for the day, having my little breakdown, and the support of my partner, I am still on the wagon.

Day 5 Review
On day 5 I woke up feeling pretty awesome. I was very alert.
My partner and I had a nice morning.
About 2pm I got very grumpy, hungry,and moody.
I took a 2 hour nap, and woke up not as grumpy, but still moody.
My partner and I decided to organize our storage closet, and it made me feel better. I became very focused and productive.
After we were done, I still had a lot of energy. It took me awhile to settle down for bed.

Day 4 Review
The 4th was pretty good. My weight was 173.
I woke up a little sore and tired. Stretching helped. I spent a lot of time thinking about what I was going to eat after the 10 days, haha!
After going to a movie, I was very tired, and took a 2 hour nap. I felt pretty great for the rest of the day and night after that.

Day 3 Review
7/3 was similar to the previous 2 days.
My sinus headache was sucking, but I didn't want to take a pill for it if I didn't have to. I succeeded, and used some other homeopathic remedies. The drainage made me nauseous off and on, but ginger tea helped a lot.
I felt pretty good and energetic until after lunch, when I got very tired. I took a brief nap before going to teach, which helped.
Teaching was a little tough off and on as I got tired quicker than usual, but after the class I was full of energy for a couple hours, so that was awesome! I am usually somewhat energetic after classes, and I think it is a mental/emotional thing, but I thought my body would be more tired after with the cleanse. It really wasn't.

Day 2 Review
So I woke up feeling really sore and stiff. I am guessing this is because I am detoxing. I also didn't have much energy. I rolled out of bed, and made my morning water, aminos, and my flex food was a couple swigs of kombucha and 1/2 of an apple. I weighed myself for the fun of it, and I was down 3 pounds to 176. Crazy...
I continued to feel crappy as I walked the dogs in the humid heat, and came back in to do a quick 15 minute yoga routine with my sweetie. It felt great to stretch, and I felt relaxed and a little less sore afterwards.
I still felt low on energy until I had my first power shake of the day 2 hours later. Then I felt more energy flowing through me, and I didn't really feel sore at all. I had a nice, but hot slow walk to the subway and then to the office for my appointment, and I didn't feel very tired at all.
After the walk back from the appointment and subway, I felt wiped out, and a little nauseous. I had a sinus headache brewing as well. I had another appointment to discuss a dance project, and I didn't feel bad during it, but once it ended, I was very weak and fatigued. When I had my flex food dinner, I felt hungry some, but couldn't eat much. I think it had to do with sinus drainage. I pretty much laid on the couch for the rest of the evening. mostly.
