Day 7 was MUCH better. I woke up, and decided I was going to have a better attitude no matter what, and it worked. I also felt much better physically. We did a short yoga routine after having our first aminos and flex food. The hunger was not very bad at all, but I still crave the foods I love. I can't wait to eat that cheese pizza on Friday! I have figured out the ways that I am going to eat healthier in general, but I'm still having that pizza! I think I will try to go to decaf coffee, as I really just love the flavor of coffee. I may have had a slight addiction to caffeine, but as long as decaf has the same flavor, I'll be good. I know decaf has some caffeine, but not as much. As long as the decaffeinating process doesn't involve any chemical process. I'll have to research that. I am going to have Kombucha every day instead of my ginger ales for my carbonation fix, and if I get nauseous from my sinus drainage, I will drink my ginger tea. I may have a naughty soda once a week, as well as a sweet treat like cookies or whatever, but in much moderation. I may or may not count my calories again, as I have done that for so many years. I go through phases of counting, but then I get tired of it, and just trust my knowledge and gut. After counting relentlessly for 10 years, I often just feel burned out on doing it at times.
My partner and I are in the home stretch now!!! We are excited and proud of ourselves. We haven't lost anymore weight, but it's not about that, right? Lol, I'd be a liar if I didn't find that a little disappointing as some people's before and after pics show them having lost 10-15 (sometimes 20) pounds. We've lost around 6. I think we're both pms'ing so I'm not expecting to lose more.
